I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing with a friendly reminder that the abstract submission deadline for the 23rd Liver Sinusoid Meeting is approaching:
Abstract submission deadline: December 31, 2025
As you know, the meeting will take place in my hometown Tarragona, Spain, May 23–26, 2026, and will be a very special edition as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the International Society for Hepatic Sinusoidal Research (ISHSR). It will be an excellent opportunity to share your latest work, exchange ideas, and reconnect with colleagues in our field in a highly interactive, small-format meeting.
All colleagues are warmly encouraged to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations, and I would especially like to encourage you to motivate students and junior members of your labs to participate. Junior researchers with accepted abstracts benefit from reduced registration fees and will find a very supportive environment with plenty of opportunities for discussion and visibility. Furthermore, top-10 scored abstracts from young investigators will have free registration!
As an added bonus, the meeting is scheduled just before EASL 2026, which will take place in Barcelona, only 1 hour from Tarragona. We will organize dedicated transportation between Tarragona and Barcelona, making it easy to attend both meetings in a single trip.
